Where to Grab Lunch in Giffnock: She is Beautys team favs!

When lunchtime rolls around, there's no need to travel far in Giffnock. Our quaint suburb of Glasgow is overflowing with delightful eateries that suit every taste! As a proud business owner in Giffnock, myself and my team have explored countless spots for our lunchtime eats! I'm eager to share our top choices of where to eat lunch in Lunch in Giffnock with you! Whether you're looking for something light and healthy or a hearty meal to power through the rest of your day, you will find fantastic options here.

1. Olive it Med

Kicking off our lunch adventure is Olive it Med. Olive It Med is a lovely family-run café and deli based at 146 Fenwick Road in Giffnock. They do an amazing range of freshly made sandwiches, paninis, wraps, bagels, and baguettes with loads of filling options to suit everyone! Their menu also includes tasty breakfast choices, hot and cold rolls, baked potatoes, cakes, and plenty of drinks to pick from. And don't get me started on their Bacon bagels. 🤤 We regularly order from Olive it Med for out lunch!

2. Tonis Pizzeria

Another wee gem in Giffnock is Tonis Pizzeria. Toni’s Pizzeria is one of my favourite spots in Giffnock – it’s a family-run Italian restaurant on Fenwick Road, and it’s been around since 2013. They’ve even won awards, including Scotland’s Best Pizzeria back in 2018, which says it all really!

Their pizzas are stone-baked and absolutely delicious – loads of options to choose from, or you can build your own. They also do amazing pastas, focaccias, fresh salads, and the desserts are next level (the Nutella waffles are a must!) We all are obsessed with their Spicy Chicken Focaccias!!

They recently expanded the place too, so the atmosphere is even better now whether you’re sitting in or grabbing a takeaway. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area! We always grab a takeaway!

3. Ca Va Bar & Brasserie

Ça Va Bar & Brasserie is a lovely spot on Fenwick Road in Giffnock. The food has a nice mix of British and French bistro vibes, and the atmosphere is always welcoming. They do great breakfasts, lunches, and dinners, and at the weekend there’s usually a bit of a buzz with live DJs and themed nights. Perfect place for a catch-up or a night out! We've had a couple of staff catch ups in Ca Va! But its definitely somewhere to sit in.

4. The Southside

The Southside in Giffnock is a brilliant spot for food and drinks. It’s got a bit of a Mediterranean and Middle Eastern vibe, with loads of tasty meze plates – both hot and cold – so there’s something for everyone. Great for getting wee sharers with friends!

It’s a relaxed, friendly place that’s great for catching up with pals, and they’ve always got something going on, like quiz nights on Thursdays and live music at the weekends. It’s family-friendly & dog-friendly (which I LOVE) , which is a nice bonus! Definitely worth a visit if you’re nearby! Another place to sit in for lunch.

5. The Orchard Park

The Bar & Grill at Orchard Park Hotel is a great spot to grab a bite. They’ve got a menu that covers everything from bar snacks to hearty comfort food, including burgers and delicious steaks from the grill. What I love is that they focus on using locally sourced ingredients, so everything’s fresh and of great quality.

The atmosphere is really laid-back, perfect for a casual meal, and if the weather’s nice, you can enjoy your food outside in the beer garden or on the terrace. Plus, it’s pet-friendly, so if you’re out with your dog, they’ll be treated to some water and treats! And I mean, they have been in Giffnock for FOREVER!! 😂

6. Maples Brunch House

Maples Brunch House in Giffnock is one of my favourite places for a delicious brunch! They’ve got everything from a traditional Scottish breakfast with Stornoway black pudding and haggis to great vegetarian and vegan options. Some of the highlights on the menu are Eggs Maples, Croque Monsieur, and McMaples – all super tasty!

It’s a relaxed, walk-in spot and is dog-friendly, so you can even bring your furry friends along. They’re open every day from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, making it the perfect place to pop into for breakfast or lunch. Definitely worth checking out! Plus they do click and collect for takeaway!!
